Soldier Holds Dying Military Dog, Then Boss Orders Staff To Get American Flag Quickly

WE. CANT. STOP. CRYING.

This is U.S. Air Force soldier Kyle Smith and his German shepherd Bodza.

Bodza was paired with Kyle when he was deployed for war. Once his duty was done, Kyle adopted him. Unfortunately, Bodza is 11 years old and suffers from something called 'degenerative myelopathy', which is very bad spinal cord disease. So Kyle made the tough decision to lay him to rest.

He brought Kyle to the vet to euthanize him.

He even put the American flag over Bodza’s body to give him a proper hero’s passing.  SHARE this story to honor Bodza for his incredible service as a military dog and friend.
